Not sure what to say?

We loved being your next door neighbors and miss you every day. Love, Elizabeth , Bob, Ben, Alex and Nick (and Lila and George)

Chuck, it's been a year my friend since the Lord took you Home. I sure do miss you and look forward to seeing you again in Paradise.

What a joy it was to share a babysitter and a friendship with the Silvas! So saddened by this news and sending prayers for peace and comfort to Meg, Chris, and Patrick.

We were neighbors on Blakiston Lane in Stratford Landing, during our Fort Hunt High School years! Our parents were close friends - I was blessed having Chuck as a friend and neighbor, since we were only one year apart. Sending love & prayers to Chuck´s family-

Plant a Tree & Name a Star

Meg, Christopher, Patrick and the Silva and Murtaugh extended families, please accept our condolences and love during this difficult time. Some of the best memories I have are with Chuck who I considered one of my closest friends and my mentor on the EA-6B and V-22 Programs. He was smart and confident and always so positive and was a great leader. Chuck was a great guy and he will always be a special part of my life. Meg I will continue to send his big box of birthday Jelly Bellys to you and...

My most sincere condolences to the Silva family. I was a classmate of Chuck´s way, way back in the Fort Hunt HS days; sadly lost touch over the decades but remember those HS days & Chuck quite well. He was a good friend, always upbeat, cheerful - had a great sense of humor. He did some very funny impersonations ergo, Howard Cosell, John Wayne. He was also a serious student, very bright, hard worker, enormous potential - he had a plan way back then. Its no surprise he had such an...

My sincerest condolences to Chuck's family. It was a pleasure serving with him during our tour at Second Brigade.

My sincerest condolences to the Silva family! I met Chuck as Ensign Silva many moons ago! We crossed paths numerous times during our navy careers! From first we met through all our both careers I find Chuck to be a true professional with shining attributes of honesty and integrity! Besides all that he was a great guy to be around! Always upbeat and fun to be around! I am truly sorry to learn of his passing. He will be missed by all of us! Rest In Peace Captain Silva!
