Not sure what to say?

I am posting a final tribute to my son on this guestbook. Charles was a kind gentle person and I am proud that he carried my name. He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, and uncle. He leaves behind many loving family members and a host of caring friends. He is sadly and dearly missed.

We were so sorry to hear about Charlie. He was such a kind caring fellow. He was always so friendly and
giving. Our family cared for him so very much. Our thoughts are with the Slusher family at this very sorrowful time.

Dana and Family,

I'm sorry for your loss. Charlie always made me feel like a good, close friend, even though I only met with him a handful of times through the years. You are in my thoughts and prayers. --- Tony

Charlie, you will be missed very much by everyone you touched. I'm so glad I was able to know you, even though it was only for a little while. I love you and I will miss you, and I promise to go to Pappadeaux for our date.

Love,
Charles' "friend"
-Lindsey

Charlie Slusher was a very special person. He always exemplified the heart of a champion. Charlie worked hard at all he did.
Our sincere prayers go out to all of his family.
God has a special plan, and Charlie fits it perfect.

We cannot communicate with those who have passed to the other side, never the less their presence remains as long as they are in our hearts. I will never forget you dad. You have touched many people in a way that I hope to one day be as big hearted and caring as you. I love you dad

Dana, Grandpa Slusher and family,
We are so sorry for the saddness that you are feeling. When someone dies it is just so hard to find any comforting words to say. Charlie was always so good to us and we knew he loved all of us. When I first contacted him to tell him I was your Marine key volunteer and I would keep you all up to date on any information we had from our sons in Iraq, he almost cried. He was so thankful and he told me "my wife is not handling this very good and I don't...

Our warmest thoughts and prayers are with the Slusher family at this time of loss. May the love and memories comfort you and keep you.

Dana, and all the family,
I am so sorry that i can;t be there with you right now, you are all in my heart and prayers. I love you all,
I am so sorry...Love you Dana
