I had the honor to play with Chuck numerous times through the year at York Golf Club Needless to say I was in awe of his golfing skills but also his professionalism on and off the course He will be remembered as an icon not only at York but throughout the Columbus District Golf Association as well as the state of Ohio RIP my friend

My deepest condolences to the entire family - he was a great friend and golf legacy!

I am so sorry for your loss. My heart skipped when i just heard. Chuck taught me much by example while I was growing up at York Golf Club; Not only how to really "play" the game, but to do so in the classiest manner possible.

One of the classiest men I've ever known......

To the Smith family...I was so very sorry to hear of Chuck's passing last week.My thoughts and prayers to all.
I have many fond memories playing in golf team events all around the tri state area with Chuck. He was great partner and mentor for me during my college years.
