Brenda,I was so saddened to hear of the passing of a TRUE FRIEND in Charlie; he befriended me more than 20 years ago @ Woody's, and remained a dear friend ever since, bringing me golf balls (which I promptly lost) on a regular basis, and always encouraging me to never lose my passion for the game I he and I loved. But most of all, he was a GOOD FRIEND who I will miss DEARLY! I only regret that he didn't know how much I truly loved him and looked up to him! I love you too, Brenda, cause I know how much he Loved You.And thats all I needed to know!...AJ Benson.

Aunt Brenda, we were all so sad to hear of Uncle Charlie's passing. He was such a wonderful, happy person. I so enjoyed visiting with y'all when we would be down at your house. I am sorry that we could not come down for the funeral. I am glad that Kayleigh and I got to see you and Charlie earlier this summer. Charlie will be missed by all, but we are happy that he is at peace, without any pain or illness. I bet heaven has a beautiful golf course and he is playing right now.
