Charles W. Honeycutt Obituary

Funeral service for Charles W. Honeycutt, 87, will be Saturday, April 1, 2017, at 2 p.m. in the Radney-Smith Chapel with the Rev. Mark Deason and the Rev. Rick Deerman officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga. Mr. Honeycutt passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017, at Coosa Valley Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jewel Honeycutt; parents, Oscar and Janie Honeycutt; his brother, Carl Honeycutt. Mr. Charles was a loving husband, father, and son. He will be truly missed by all that knew him. Mr. Honeycutt is survived by his sister, Betty (Bobby Jo) Culver; two daughters, Marilyn (David) Wood and Elaine (Perry) Cook; son, Keith (Nancy) Honeycutt; nine grandchildren, Tammie (Mark) Deason, Christie (Wayne) Walker, Emily Glass, April (George) Glazner, Brad (Laura) Lacey, Ginger (Clay) Thompson, Carolyn (Kevin) Stone, Meg (Devon) Laney, Ryan Cook, and Claire Cook; 15 great-grandchildren, Jessica (Jonathan) Grimes, Mollee Walker, Kansas Walker, Abby Glass, Hannah Glass, Courtney Glass, Wynter Glazner, George Glazner, Addie Lacey, Brooklyn Lacey, Brody Thompson, Bentley Thompson, Claire Cook, David Cook, and Margaret Cook; great-great-grandchild, Ali Glass. Visitation will be today, March 31, 2017 from 5 until 7 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home. The family will be accepting flowers or contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
