'Tom'
Mr. Wainscott, 61, of Charlotte, died May 21, 2005 at Carolinas Medical Center. He was born on September 5, 1943 in Washington, DC, a son of the late Charles T. and Virginia Sims Wainscott.
Tom was President and co-founder of Squire Dental Studio, Inc. in Charlotte from 1971 to present. He was an active member of Candlewyck Baptist Church where he supported the preschool program and the youth group. He was an outdoorsman and a lifelong car enthusiast.
He is survived by his loving wife Jane Boone Wainscott, whom he would have been married to for 40 years this August; a son Charles T. Wainscott III and wife Julie, and daughter Renee Wainscott-Ingraham; grandchildren Rachel and Chase Wainscott, and Alex and Cole Wainscott-Ingraham, all of Charlotte; sister Sandra Wainscott League and husband Tony of Winston-Salem, NC, brothers Bobby Wainscott of Senoia, GA, Steven Wainscott and wife Shirley of Woodstock, GA, Richard Wainscott of Myrtle Beach, SC, Bill Wainscott and wife Pam of Statesville, NC, and Jeffrey Wainscott of Charlotte; aunt Grace Weatherholt, Toledo, OH; numerous cousins, and nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, May 24, 2005 at McEwen Funeral Service, Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Rd., Charlotte, NC with the Reverend Alan Shuler officiating. Interment will follow at Sharon Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 until 9 PM Monday evening at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association of NC, 3801 Lake Boone Trail, P.O. Box 27985, Raleigh, NC 27611.
McEwen Funeral Service, Pineville Chapel is serving the family of Mr. Wainscott.

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. Tom was a wonderfully kind and generous man with a great sense of humor! He will be truly missed by all of those whose lives he touched. My thoughts and prayers are with the family, especially Jane, Renee, and Chuck.
