I sent in a long memory on Sunday. It's not been put in the paper yet and I was wondering why not? Thanks. Cheryl McCarrey

I knew Chuck (what we called him then) in 1967-68 when he was in Kanab and at Dixie College. I went to his missionary farewell and wrote to him for awhile. I never saw him again but always wondered what became of him. I came across his obit in the Tribune quite by accident as I seldom read the paper anymore and usually only the editorial page. It was startling to see, but gratifying to know about what sounds like his big colorful life. My condolences to all of you..

Dana made homemade bread and Chile to share with us. I thought it odd but cute that he asked IF I minded if he sliced it and buttered it. I believe it was at the beginning of Covid.
