Coach Whitlock was more than just a basketball coach to me, he was a mentor and leader in my life since my middle school days. His impact on my life will never be forgotten. Coach Whitlock was a wonderful coach, friend, and mentor to our son and a true blessing to our family. As a coach, it was inspiring to see how he could bring a group of teenage boys together, of all skill levels, and get them to work together as a cohesive team. So so sorry the hear about Charles passing. When I think back to my high school years at Lee Davis, Charles is the first person who comes to my mind. He made me laugh! He was such a nice person. God bless you Peggy, you certainly had a great guy and I know you will miss him terribly. Love and prayers to you and your family. I just can´t believe he´s gone. So sorry to hear of the passing of Coach Whitlock. He was coach to my son and my granddaughter at new community. He was a great influence on both again so sorry to hear of his passing Madeline Neagle.

Peggy and Family, My sympathy for all of you. When Charles and I both at the church, we were always joking around. He made me laugh a lot.
