Not sure what to say?

So sorry to find out Chuck passed away. He was such a great person. I throughly enjoyed working with him when I interned for the city beautification board. Such a great man. May your soul rest in peace Chuck. I am blessed to have known you.

After three years from your parting i still think of you often. I will never forget the great times we shared as roommates while students at UF.

I'm very heart broken over the news about my dear Friend Chuck Woods. Chuck taught me so much about love and life. I'm truly sad about his passing. Chuck and I was together back in the 90ish for 4 beautiful years. I will miss him dearly.

I knew Chuck when I was a student at UF. He was a great guy as everyone knows. He was generous and provocative and taught me to put a bit of lemon peel in my Chock Full O' Nuts coffee. A few of his many friends became friends of mine. Last night (July 9, 2017) I had the wonderful surprise of seeing Chuck on a PBS show about the Johns Committee and gay life in the 60's and 70's on Florida University campuses and the events involving that committee and Chuck. While Chuck is gone, memories...

Chuck was a very caring member of humanity and citizen of Gainesville. He expressed his concerns about important topics related to national politics, human rights, landscape and urban design, the arts, etc which I would sometimes concur and sometimes disagree with, in a spirited friendship I won't forget. His impact on the people around him will be missed but not forgotten.

Chuck... your friendship had a great impact in my life. Thanks for the good times, sense of humor and constant smile. You will be missed by many.

One of my dearest, and important, friends. He taught me so much. ... The picture chosen here captures him, the extension of him (to many, many friends), and what I tried to reciprocate back to him. I so value my time with Chuck, for two decades, and will remember him fondly.

Chuck, I regret never getting to say goodbye. You will always be with me.

Amelia Island Concours 2012

Chuck, I will miss you dearly. I enjoyed your friendship for 50 years and your passing will leave a huge hole in my life. Going to Art Basel or the Amelia Island Concours will never be the same. I'll miss our long phone chats and real-time email exchanges. "Love you".
