Charlie Karp

Charlie was great to work with and we had fun while he was recording the Name Droppers album.

I met Charlie around 1986 when he reached out to me when I was involved in music management. I went on the manage the band Charlie had put together, Charlie Karp and The Namedroppers and we went on to release an album on Grudge Records/BMG. It is never easy to lose a loved one.I pray you find comfort in Gods promise found at John 6:40.which says that soon we will see all our loved ones again. My deepest condolences to the family.

Charlie was my Guitar Teacher, who taught me a variety of songs that I've cherished over the years, and, still love to play. When it was time for me to advance from a much older guitar I had used when I first started playing, he led my parents and I to the music store where I purchased my first new guitar, back when I was 14.
