Charlotte Gaines Obituary
95, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2015. Charlotte was born October 16, 1919 in London, England. Chris served in Auxiliary Corp of the WAAF during WWII.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Gaines; her parents Edward and Charlotte Evans; her brothers, Edward and Hercules; and a grandson, Shawn Willey.
She is survived by her children, Daniel (Brenda) Gaines, Linda (George) Willey, and James (Rebecca) Gaines; her brother Jim (Doreen) Evans; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of Charlotte's life will be held Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at 10am at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd, Louisville. Visitation will be Monday from 3-8 pm at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be given in memory to your favorite charity.
The Gaines family sends a heartfelt Thank You to the caregivers at Parkway Rehab and Nursing for the wonderful care.

I HAD THE MOST WONDERFUL MOTHER IN LAW IN THE WORLD. SHE WAS SO LOVING AND KIND. SHE WILL BE MISSED. I LOVE YOU MOM.

My Grandmother was s special lady. What a blessing. No more Alzheimer's her Dementia is gone she is finally with my Grandpa who says "what took you so long". I can hear her now " I was fixing us some tea". My Grandmother was a quiet lady hardly spoke a word, but today she is talking and remembering everything with the greatest of ease.
