Charlotte Gans Obituary

Charlotte Bluestone Gans passed away on December 16, 2017. Originally from New York, Charlotte moved to New Orleans in 1991 with her husband, David Gans. The youngest and last surviving of her five siblings, Charlotte was a school teacher possessed of an active and inquiring mind right up to the end. In New York and New Orleans she developed and sustained friendships with people of all ages who responded to her curiosity, wit and her feisty and contrarian spirit. She is survived by three nephews and one niece: Donald Bluestone of Woodstock, NY; Paul Bluestone of Evanston, Illinois; Ross Bluestone of Houston, Texas; and Suzi Bluestone of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
