Charlotte Brown Morris Charlotte Brown Morris, age 92, of Austin, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2005. She was formerly of Round Rock and was a member of P.E.O. and of the First United Methodist Church. Charlotte was the sixth of nine children born to Eli and Anna Brown in Des Moines, Iowa on December 29, 1912. She was a nurse, homemaker and, along with her husband, Dorsey, was active in many church and volunteer activities. She received her R. N. from Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois. She is preceded in death by husband, Dorsey J. Morris, in November of 1990. Charlotte is survived by her sister, Jeannette Brown Morgan; brother, Bob Brown; brother-in-law, Dale L. Walther, all of Austin; son, Peter B.Morris, PhD. and wife, Margaret of Derry, New Hampshire; grandsons, Mark Morris, PhD. and wife, Cassandra of Frisco, Texas, Scott Morris and wife, Jennifer of Cumming, Georgia and Stephen of Beaverton, Oregon. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 25, 2005, at Westminster Manor Chapel, 4100 Jackson Ave, Austin, Texas 78731. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made in honor of Charlotte Morris to First United Methodist Church of Round Rock, 1004 N. Mays, Round Rock, Texas 78680 or to the Charles and Helen Lindsay Endowment Fund in Music at Sam Houston State University, Office of University Advancement, Box 2537, Huntsville, Texas 77341.
