Charlotte and I were students together at Xavier University. Back then she was a very kind, idealistic, and studious young lady. I have good memories of the time we spent in college. I encourage you to stay strong in the faith that Charlotte displayed when she was at Xavier.

We at St. Luke's Church in New Orleans send our deepest condolences to Felix, the children and the rest of the family for the unexpected passing of Charlotte. Charlotte and Felix were regular attenders at worship in the last three months, participating in the church's life as much as they were able, and being an encouragement to me personally. May Charlotte rest in peace and rise in glory through God's mercy. We pray also for peace of mind and strength for Felix to endure the loss of his life partner.

I worked with Charlotte as a teacher at Warren Easton. We were in the same Business Dept. which was very small. Seeing each other daily and sharing our joys, families, and responsibilities existed for many years. Charlotte made me happy and we laughed a lot as we did our best to teach our students the road to success. I am smiling now as I remember sitting across from her in our meetings and lunches. I will certainly remember her in my prays and will offer my holy communion for her. Her name will be listed in our book of prayers for souls on their way to Heaven. What a sweet, kind soul she was. I remember meeting her daughter, Cynthia; I have a daughter named Cynthia,too. Fond memories will be recalled. God bless the family.
