I just learned of Cheryl's passing today . My heartfelt condolences to her family and extended family . Though I had not seen Cheryl in years I still
Remember how caring and thoughtful she was and interested in teaching me as an intern. We shared many happy times too at Long Beach outside of the hospital . She will be missed and my heart goes out to her family with this sudden loss .

Dr. Carrao was my PCP in Tribeca fo a long time. Now with hindsight I was beginning to suffer from a 9/11 illness. Her care and attention was exceptional. I had a host of problems between 2002 and 2006 that were not recognized as 9/11 related at the time. I have my records and her care was truly concerned and empathetic
