To Mrs. Milam and Family, Mr. Chesley was the ultimate example of a southern gentleman. Anyone who came in contact with him could not help but have respect for him. He was so kind to me and my family always. His God given role in life was fulfilled.

To the families: So sorry to hear of Mr. Chesley's passing. We are the Hunter family and grew up on the Milam farm in Sandy Springs during the 60's. Our parents, Johnny J, and Zenobia Hunter and us, lived in the small farm house behind the Milams and the Coates family.

We so loved the Milam family. Some of us attended Pendleton school with Chep and Phillip.

Lee, Chep, and Family. It is with a sad heart that I awoke this morning to read about the passing of a friend. I truly enjoyed our conversations together. Chesley was well loved and greatly appreciated. He always treated all of us at Mama Penns with respect. We missed seeing him the past couple of years but please know he hasn't been forgotten. Much love for Chesley and Lee.
