I Had the blessing of meeting Mr. Dickson back in 1980. I was attending Woodrow Wilson elementary school and our guidance counselor Mrs. Parsons invited me to her church where her husband Mr. Parsons was the pastor. They would come pick me up on the church bus every Sunday along with my friends from school that also attended church. When I was in 2nd grade he became my Sunday school teacher and took us kids everywhere. Some of us never had a good male role model and that he became. He was like no other. A true Angel on earth. I will never forget all that he has done.
