Chet H. Boyers IV, aka CB

Born 1/13/76 in Memmingen, Germany - Died 5/17/22 in Ridley Park , Pa

Chet , unexpectedly passed away peacefully in his sleep , at the age of 46.

He grew up in a military family spending most of his childhood in Satellite Beach, Fl. His mother, Linda Boyers of Black Mountain , NC, preceded him in death in 2003. He is survived by Chet Boyers III (Father) and Donna Henson-Boyers (Step-mother) Satellite Beach, Fl, Nickol Boyers (Sister) Satellite Beach, Fl, Ryan Boyers and Dylan Boyers (Sons) Chichester, Pa, Mia Boyers (Daughter) Parkside, Pa, Danielle Rhoads (Fiancé) Ridley Park, Pa, Jack Rhoads and Thomas Rhoads (Step-sons) Ridley Park, Pa, Reily Rhoads (Step-daughter) Ridley Park, Pa, and many aunts, uncles, cousins along with two beautiful pit-bull pups Baby Girl and Sammy Sue Boyers.

He attended Satellite High School where his skills in soccer earned him a college scholarship.  He graduated in 1994 and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1995. Chet was a part of 0341- 81mm Mortarman, 2nd Battalion 3rd Marines . He was stationed in Okinawa, Japan and K-Bay, Hawaii before being honorably discharged for medical reasons.

His compassion for others is exemplified by an incident in North Carolina after his discharge.  Driving home from work on icy mountain roads, he noticed the taillights of a car sinking in the river.  With no thought to his own safety, he rushed to the car to help.  The trapped mother frantically told him to help her adult handicapped son, who was strapped in the back seat.  He helped the mother and son from the icy waters, then went back to retrieve the wheel chair from the trunk of the car, just as the car was swept away into the river.  As he was interviewed by television and newspapers, his response was that he just did what needed to be done.

Moving to Aston, Pa in 2001, he established Aloha Massage Therapy Inc. His passion to help others was apparent through his work as a massage therapist. Over the 22 years in business, many clients became more like family. He sponsored and helped support many youth athletic teams, as well as fundraiser to raise money for the sick and various other community events.

Always wanting to learn more and push the limits, he went back to school to become a Scuba Dive Master. This accomplishment allowed him to teach other's to enjoy the ocean and all it had to offer.

Chet "Diver" was a Sgt at Arms and a proud 6 year member of the Tun Tavern Chapter of the Leathernecks Nation Motorcycle Club. He was the embodiment of Brotherhood and Loyalty.

Although he enjoyed his life, he struggled with alcoholism early on. This phase of his life guided him to his AA family. The hard work and dedication lead him toward his 15 years of clean sobriety. Chet's desire was obvious in his willingness to speak and share his journey with inmates in prison, Sober Recovery homes and VA hospitals. His success with sobriety allowed him to reach out and connect with Kill/Save 22.

Chet was a kind-hearted, loving, caring, verbally opinionated, truthful, goofy, passionate man. He enjoyed the beach, good food (sometimes bad food), motorcycle cruises, spending time with his children, family and friends. He will be sadly missed but never forgotten by all who knew him.

Please come and join his family, friends and brotherhood to celebrate Chet's life on Friday, June 3rd, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.  at the Delco Marine Corps League, 3602 6th St, Upland Pa.

Not sure what to say?

Recently I learned of Chet's passing. I'm deeply saddened by this news. My heartfelt condolences to the Boyer and Rhoads Families, especially Nicky. I was a regular at Aloha Massage from almost the beginning. Chet was a caring and compassionate man. He always focused on his clients to give them the best possible care every time. We need more people like Chet in the world. Peace to Chet and his loved ones. Aloha my friend.

I have gotten to know Chet during the twenty years he was my massage therapist. He was funny, kind, thoughtful, and the absolute best at massage therapy. When I last saw him on May 14th, Chet shared that he is incredibly proud of his three children and that all he truly wants is for his children to be happy. My heart reaches out to his sister Nicole and all who love him.

I really don´t know what to say. Lots of special memories of you. Just can´t find the words to express all our sorrow. Thinking of your family in this time of grief.

I am so sorry to hear of Chet's passing. He was my massage therapist for years and helped me so much. We had many good chats and I will miss him dearly. Condolences to his family

Although my massages over the past 10+ years were performed by another therapist at Aloha, Chet was more than just a business owner. He was always very caring about how I was doing. He celebrated with me at every cancer surviving appointment I had through the last 5 years. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, both personal and business, he will be greatly missed.

Chet and I learned to Scuba dive together. Pretty much every dive I did when first starting was with him. I was a part of his daily text messages he would send, and I always looked forward to reading them each day. I know he cared about his family very much. I´m extremely sorry to hear about his passing.

My most heartfelt condolences to you
