To The Sun Family, We, The Brun Family, have enjoyed so, so many wonderful lunches, dinners, celebrations of every kind at your father's,grandfather's restaurant. His warm , friendly welcomes always made us feel so "special". He was particularly gracious to our son, Alexander, as he grew from toddler to teenager. It is testament to his fine character that the staff we have known for 30 years is still there! He used to lament that his children were no help in the restaurant as they had...

Mr. Sun was always a gracious and smiling host. I recall going in to pick up a menu before lunch opening. The door was open, so went in search of some one. I was entranced to hear the er-hu being played. I am embarassed to say that I stood out of sight just to listen for quite some time. As I put my head around the open doorway I saw C.C. sitting at his desk. What a talent he had for the traditional music. I have often told this story to others and will always remember that special...

My family and I have had many memorable celebrations at CC's restaurant. It was a place we always enjoyed going to for special dinners. CC and his entire family always made us feel welcome and the food is the best in the province. We have always had great respect for this family and their successful business. We will miss you terribly but will continue to enjoy what you have built. Definitely a landmark on the North Shore.

We lived just across the street from the Capilano Heights restaurant and recall the very day that Mr. Sun opened up this great dining establishment. We got to know Mr. Sun and truly he was a kind man and we always enjoyed his friendly greeting the many times we dined there. We will remember Mr. Sun with very pleasant thoughts.

My deepest sympathies to you all. I have such wonderful childhood memories of Big Uncle CC and his restaurant, special family occasions, swimming in his pool and playing at nearby Capilano Park. Rest in peace, Uncle.
