First of all, I want to commend her daughters for everything they did to make her life bearable. I followed the updates of her progress/not so much progress on Caring Bridge. Chris was such a loving (oh boy, her grandkids knew that for sure) person, gentle, unassuming and just a great addition to our world. Thank God she is finally relieved of her earthly suffering!

Contributions to the Toledo gardening community are so appreciated by all. She will be greatly missed.

Chris, you will be forever missed and remembered every day. I always think of you when I see the leaves on the trees turned "upside down," the way they do when they´re preparing for rain. I love to tell people about who taught me the reason the leaves do that. One of my favorite people. Nothing but class!!! We shed many a tear together in the hospital right before Eddie's passing. Thanks for some great memories.
