My Dear Son, Chris
I've been told. Perhaps they aren't stars in the sky, but rather openings where our loved one shines down to let us know. They are peacefully happy. I love & miss you , Mom

I have known Chris Montana for nearly twenty years now. My heart goes out to his friends and family. Chris always had a passion for the cinema, theater, travel, sports, and the BBQ grill...i can see him now, smoke swirling around him in his mother's backyard making a meal for us all...chicken, fish, a good steak, you name it, Chris grilled it...thank YOU, Chris for welcoming me into your Life...you will be missed!

I had only just met Chris a year ago, he was such a good friend of my best friend Leesa. I set up a birthday party for her, blasted it out on Facebook, and he showed up before I did, but I didn't know who he was. I think he recognized me, because he introduced himself, and said he was there for her party. I remember thinking when I saw him, 'oh great, this guy has taken the best table' -but he did that for the party, and he offered to get us beer and pizza. Then I was floored when he presented Leesa with such a personal gift that it made me think, wow, he really knows her well, and I can't believe he went through the trouble of getting something so cool-a vintage original Fozzie Bear. But that was how he was, friendly and thoughtful, and the life of the party. Rest in peace Chris, we're going to miss you a lot.

You are always full of welcoming good cheer. And though we have been friends for less than a year, I am a better person for knowing you. Chris, a heart full of love and gratitude and song to you. Rock on Superstar. You touched so many hearts. My condolences to everyone visiting this page.

Chris I have so many great memories of you from high school. I'm so glad we reconnected a couple years ago and got to hang out last year. You are gone way too soon, it's just not fair. Love ya, friend. Be good and don't cause too much trouble up there. ;)

My condolences to Chris's family! I worked with him on Francis Hamada's "Browncoats" film and he was wonderful, both as actor and as crew. He was always there, always ready to do whatever was needed, and always made things work. His passing is a huge loss, and we will miss him greatly.
