Chris Monroe Richeson, 66, of Englewood TN, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2024.


Chris never met a stranger and would go out of his way to help anyone in need. He spent several years as a volunteer firefighter for the Englewood Fire Department. He was a loving husband and father, his daughters were his pride and joy. Chris loved his English Bulldog, Bentley. Chris was an avid Tennessee Vols fan. He was always the life of the party, entertaining and keeping everyone laughing. Chris will be greatly missed by all his family and his abundance of friends.


He was preceded in death by his parents, James “Cotton” and Jeanette Richeson; sister, Cathy Richeson.


Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Regenia Masengil Richeson; daughters, Kelsie Richeson and Callie Richeson Cook.


Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, July 21, 2024, in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Pastor Russ Maples officiating.


Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday prior to the service.


Family and friends will assemble at Cochran Cemetery, Monday, July 22nd for the 11: 00 a.m. committal service.


Harold Masengil, Brandon Masengil, Kevin Masengil, Adam Masengil, Ken McJunkin, Connor Mcjunkin, Zachary Boyd and Phil Burger will serve as pallbearers.

So so sorry Regina, I thought the world of Chris. Didn’t know anything about his passing. Prayers for you and your precious family!!

I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of Chris. He was such a nice person and good friend to David. I was glad to know him. Your family are in my prayers.

So saddened to hear of his passing. Such a sweet amazing man. Our family has know him and his family since I was just a little girl. He will be so missed. Prayers for peace and comfort for the family.

I knew Chris from way back. I would go visit his sister Kathy and his mom whenever I stayed at my Granny Burgers house and he would be there at times. Ran into him a couple of times after Kathy passed. He was a very kind person! My prayers for all the family and those who knew him. God Bless!
