Christine Curry Obituary

Christine Curry

Manchester - Christine Curry passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020, three (3) weeks short of her 96th birthday. She was born in Mount Vernon, Georgia, and lived in Long Branch and Neptune for many years. She graduated from Long Branch High School and a received a BS degree in Business Administration from Monmouth College in 1980. Christine was employed by the Department of Defense, Ft. Monmouth, NJ retiring after 40 years of service. She was a member of the St. Augustine Episcopal Church, Asbury Park, N.J. for many years, singing in their choir. She was also a member of the AAUW and other professional women's clubs.

Christine was predeceased by her husband, John T. Curry, sisters, Mamie Adams and Alice Proctor, brothers Monroe Adams and George Adams. She is survived by her loving daughter, Constance L. Reed and her husband, David, Manchester, NJ; three grandchildren, Kimberly Y. Trujillotovar and her husband, Carlos, Toms River, NJ; Talee Reed, Neptune, NJ; and David Reed Jr. and his fiancé, Sarah Landry, Brooklyn, NY; her great grandsons, Jared and Jase Trujillotovar, Toms River, NJ; her sister, Annie Colbert, Willingboro, NJ; several nieces and nephews, and a very close friend, Vivian Hardy.

Arrangements were under the direction of the D'Elia Funeral Home, Lakewood, NJ, burial at BG William D. Doyle Veterans Cemetery.
