Ode to Miss Chris
A cherished spirit of wisdom and grace
benevolence glowing on a faithful face,
Stalwart, she gave freely of her wisdom and learning,
leading you all to a broadening yearning.
Reading and book reports were a legacy instilled,
strength of character a beacon subtly willed.
Go ye forth into the world filled with Hope, Fortitude and Christ's living water.
Emerge victorious,
you have been touched by God's Holy daughter.

My deepest condolences. Ms. Chris nurtured so many of us. She has always held a special place in my heart.
