On behalf of the Trinity College baseball team from 2008, we want to share our deepest condolences. Chris was an amazing man and a great friend to so many of us, so we thought it only proper we honor his memory; we are donating both to the mental health crisis hotline and planting trees in his memory. Chris was a beloved member of the Yale Psychiatric Hospital family. He spent his career treating youth with mental illness, he was steadfast in his compassion and care for his patients. He was also faithful in his devotion to our team. We always felt safe when Chris was on the unit because he was reliable, protective, trustworthy, and devoted to patients and colleagues. Chris was such a significant part of our work family at Yale Psychiatric Hospital, he was important and mattered to our patients and to each of us, as colleagues, friends - Chris always did the right thing by patients and his presence always made our unit and team feel safe.
