Trinity College Baseball (2008)
June 1, 2023
On behalf of the Trinity College baseball team from 2008, we want to share our deepest condolences. Chris was an amazing man and a great friend to so many of us, so we thought it only proper we honor his memory; we are donating both to the mental health crisis hotline and planting trees in his memory. He will be missed dearly. Trinity College Baseball '08

Chris was a beloved member of the Yale Psychiatric Hospital family. He spent his career treating youth with mental illness, he was steadfast in his compassion and care for his patients. He was also faithful in his devotion to our team. We always felt safe when Chris was on the unit because he was reliable, protective, trustworthy, and devoted to patients and colleagues. His presence and work was meaningful and significantly impacted countless lives. Chris had perfect hair and a beautiful heart & soul. We were the lucky ones... a better team with him, and we will miss him dearly.

Chris was such a significant part of our work family at Yale Psychiatric Hospital, he was important and mattered to our patients and to each of us, as colleagues, friends - Chris always did the right thing by patients and his presence always made our unit and team feel safe. Chris had perfect hair and a beautiful heart & soul. We wish his family/friends and all those who loved Chris peace & comfort in the reflection of a beautiful life that was meaningful and touched countless lives. Thank you Chris, we miss you <3

Dear family,
Our hearts break for you. There are so many memories. Each of you are so special to us and have touched our lives in many ways. As Chris `s preschool teacher, I remember that smart little blonde boy with blue eyes and then as an older child all the baseball games that he played with Mark. There are no words for our sympathy. We embrace you with our love and prayers.

The world lost another angel. Chris was my son's therapist for the last 7 years and got us through some of the hardest times in our lives. He came to our home weekly and made himself available ANY TIME we needed him. He was our most trusted advisor for how to deal with some pretty severe mental health issues. He dedicated himself to others and couldn't possibly understand the impact he's had on so many lives. Thank you for everything you've meant to others and you'll live on in our hearts forever. I'm so sad for the many others that feel the heaviest burden of this loss, but can only think that his contributions must be celebrated at this saddest of times. Dan & Debra Eggleston

Impressions, our experiences leave marks and scars. Some of these Impressions are shallow and some are deep, but they all carry a memory. The people we meet leave the deepest of these Impressions, good or bad they leave their mark, Chris was one of those people. His parents, his brother and sister shaped Chris into the person he is and the Impression he has made in my life.
In a time of feeling alone he showed the compassion greater than his years.
My Nephew Christopher.
