Christopher Blaise

I just read in the press republican that Blaise had passed away. As a freshman at SUNY Plattsburgh in the fall of 1994 I met Blaise. Stan and Mike O'Donnell were down the hall and Blaise was friends with them. He would hang out with them and that's how I met him. He was a salt of the earth good person. Quick witted and very funny. Blaise was one of my favorite homies. We were good buds and confided in each other. I will always consider him one of my best friends. His smile. His smile lit up the room. As did his one liners delivered perfectly. Goofball. I met Blaise at Carnegies in 2002 when I stared bartending there. I immediately took to his weird humor. We were both like m&ms, crunchy on the outside and gooey and sweet on the inside. Also With a touch of jalapeños. We related to one another. He was part of my family....
