I just read in the press republican that Blaise had passed away. As a freshman at SUNY Plattsburgh in the fall of 1994 I met Blaise. Stan and Mike O'Donnell were down the hall and Blaise was friends with them. He would hang out with them and that's how I met him. He was a salt of the earth good person. Quick witted and very funny. After they graduated I remember he got a job a GP and was living near the field house. I went over and interviewed him about something in regards to GP. It was sad to hear of his passing. I wish his family strength. I know its been since may, but I'm sure it still hurts.

Blaise was one of my favorite homies. We were good buds and confided in each other. I will always consider him one of my best friends. His smile. His smile lit up the room. As did his one liners delivered perfectly. Goofball. I met Blaise at Carnegies in 2002 when I stared bartending there. I immediately took to his weird humor. We were both like m&ms, crunchy on the outside and gooey and sweet on the inside. Also With a touch of jalapeƱos. We related to one another. He was part of my family. One of the few that were invited to my wedding. Miro and I always will have a place for him on our hearts. He gave the best hugs. I have so many good memories with him. Then he met this really cool chick Colleen. I was protective at first but saw how loving and stubborn she was. Exactly what he needed. We embraced her into the family. Colleen and Blaise collected multiple of my artworks over the years. They have been great friends and supporters. I'm sending love to all of his friends and family right now because I know what you have lost. Blaise would want us to be happy and move on but first a good song, shot and a hug. I miss you brother.
