Blum, Christopher (Chris) Driscoll,

age 47, of Fairfield, Connecticut, beloved husband of Susan Roberts Blum, passed away suddenly in his home on Sunday, March 15, 2015.

Chris, an amazing husband, father, son, brother and prince of a man, was born in Louisville, Kentucky to Leonard and Maureen Blum of Cincinnati. He was a graduate of St. Xavier High School, University of Kentucky and Virginia Commonwealth University where he obtained his Master of Fine Arts.

Chris was a Cincinnati Reds fan, a mélomane, and an avid reader. He was an artist who created works of art that will continue to fill many people with incredible joy. Most of all, Chris was a father in every sense of the word. He found light, hope, laughter and wisdom through his children. He cherished and loved them above all else.

Survivors, in addition to his beloved wife and parents, include his children, Colin Kinsella and Sarena Noelle Blum, his sister Katherine Blum and her husband John Desmond, nieces and nephews, Annabella and Rafferty Desmond of Cincinnati, and Dana and Sean Roberts of Columbus, Ohio.

Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, March 26th, at 12:00 p.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 8815 E. Kemper Road, Cincinnati, Ohio. Interment will take place following the Mass at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery. A separate memorial will be held for loved ones in Fairfield, Connecticut.
