I was in total shock to hear of Chris' passing. Chris was 3 years younger than me. We went to church together for several years. His mother was kind to me and gave me rides to church when we were young kids. I hadn't seen him in years cause they had moved to Red Bud IL. We caught back up at Church activities in our High School years. We lost connection again. He came back to Herrin IL. He had went to a video store. He recognized my step sister who worked there and she told him where I worked....

I was fortunate enough to work with Chris for a handful of years during his time in Tennessee; we even experienced a roll-over together in a fire department pickup. Salt of the Earth and funny dude. RIP, gone too soon.
