Not sure what to say?

I landed in Basking Ridge, N.J., after my family moved back to N.J. from New Mexico. We won the battle of the bands that year, 1968, with Chris as lead singer. I recall clearly how well he balanced the group, and how well he sang "Dock of the Bay", " I'll feel a whole lot better", and others, in 1968. He was a nice guy, and a character. Susan and family,

I was so shocked and saddened to hear this news. I had the utmost respect for Chris. We touched base every once in awhile, but not lately, and I guess I thought we could always just pick up where we left off. I remember all the black ties with you two and Pat.

My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Mark Toomey

Our family is saddened by this news. Chris, Susan, and the boys were great neighbors for many years and we were so glad to have had them join us at a family celebration just this June. Our prayers are with his family. He was a wonderful man, a true and kind soul.
