It was a week ago today that I learned that Chris had passed on. I showed up at his house expecting to go on a final hike with him on one of his favorite trails in the hills of Camden, Maine. I was so shocked and saddened to hear the news. Chris was my "student/client" and I was his orientation and mobility instructor for a little over a year. But over the year we had become friends. We spent many hours hiking difficult, steep, rocky trails in all types of conditions. Chris did not shy...

I SO enjoyed working with Chris as his Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor after he moved here to Maine!
His creativity, energy and humor were contagious and we at the Division for the Blind & Visually Impaired will miss him dearly.
My deepest sympathy to Chris' family and friends, such a loss for all, take good care, sending a cyberhug to each of you.

I first knew Creek as a client of EMPOWERS and as the owner it was my job to work with him to find employment in the Rockland Maine area. It wasn’t long after we met that I offered him a position with the company. Creek’s involvement with EMPOWERS has had a profound effect on myself and the client’s we serve; many people now have better lives due to his hard-work and commitment to the job at hand. I’m honored to have known such a remarkable person and I will miss him dearly. I’ve been...

I knew Creek through his brother, Patrick, and my son, Josh. He was a wonderful young man with a kind heart and caring spirit.
Chris, you will be dearly missed by all those whose lives you have touched. God bless and keep you. Thank you for being there for Josh. You, like Patrick, have been a true friend to him.
My sympathy to your family, loved ones, and friends. You and they will remain in my prayers.

Chris...ahhh the memories of our youth.
So memorable.
I will always remember ball-walking between you and Damien.
I will always remember our first apartment together where I got addicted to Diet Coke because of you.
You'll always be in my memories and on my bookshelf.
That's because I always for years have had a picture of you with angel wings on.
I love you.
I will miss you.

What a smile....To bring joy to those around you ,such a gift. A gentle man with a really big spark for life. The ones left behind are sad ,but the reward to come makes all the difference when you know the lord and eccept him into your heart!
