I am so sorry for the pain that the entire Kiker family is enduring right now. Chris and I talked for hours some nights. Despite his issues with addiction, he was a man who held women in the highest regard, loved babies and dogs, and was a bright spot in an often dismal world. I met Chris in highschool, he was a charming fellow, always carrying a friendly smile upon his face. Full of life and laughter. I crossed paths with him a few times over the following years, getting to meet his son. I truly wish there would have been a different means to deal with the life's struggles he had and was having to endure. Never goodbye, but see you later, ol' friend!!
