Not sure what to say?

I came to the Houston VA in the twilight of my career as a social worker and therapist. I was extremely fortunate to work with Chris. He was easily a favorite and the best all-round psychiatrist on the unit. Respectful, knowledgeable and professional. But more than that, he was a kind soul. Both to patients and staff.

Dr.Martin was an amazing physician, great colleague and a teacher. He trained me at Houston VA Hospital more than 10 years ago, but I still remember him with warmth and gratitude. Such a great loss for everyone who knew him.

It truly a great honor to have been in Dr Martin presence, he always had a beautiful smile on his face at the VA in Houston. He solely will be missed.May he rest in the arms of the all mighty God.May God grant his family peace in this time.

Such a great doctor and a great person, I had the privilege of working with him at the Houston V.A. He will be missed,

Chris is one of the most genuine and loving people I've known. One of my first memories of college is Chris beating me - badly - as we both tried out for the tennis team. He was as relentless as he was humble. We only grew closer throughout college and some of my most lasting memories were formed with him; through fellowship, on the tennis court, and during my only ever trip to Pearsall. Through the tears thinking about Chris and his young family, reflecting on the memories with him has...

I am very sad to hear of the loss of Chris Martin. I had the joy of knowing Chris in college and having him be part of a Bible study that I led. He was a beloved friend and will be dearly missed.

It was a great honor to have known and worked with Dr.Martin, at Michael DeBakey VA hospital in Housto,Tx. On NU-6A. I’ll always remember him wearing that long white coat and his signature cowboy boots, you’ll be sorely missed.Rest in heavenly peace.

Chris Martin was a good person and a good physician. We had adjoining offices for several months. He was always cheerful and positive, even when he was obviously tired. I liked to talk about cases; he liked to talk about his family. The last conversation we had was about his weekend plans with his wife and his two young sons. I miss Chris.
