Not sure what to say?

I went to basic with Chris and we served in the same platoon for my entire time in the military including Desert Shield/Storm. He was one of the best soldiers and people I have ever met. He was dedicated to the Army and his family. Initially, we were very close since we went to basic together and were both from Louisville, Ky. After basic we drove to Ft. Hood, our first permanent party, in my POS 74' Monte Carlo. No AC and that V-8 blasting heat in the summer. Felt like driving an oven and we...

Sarg I'm just checking in letting you know that you are not forgotten. I'm always thinking about the brothers I lost while serving my country. You were not only an awesome NCO and leader but a wonderful friend and brother. Miss you...SCOUTS OUT!!

Happy Heavenly Birthday Chris.

SFC Phelps was my drill while in basic training. I just found out he passed. I am very sorry for your loss. He was a great leader and trained many good soldiers. He will never be forgotten.

Platoon Daddy, It's been several years now since you were taken away from us. I know the world was a better place with you in it. I know I certainly think about you a lot and it only seems harder the more time goes by. Things never get easier when someone loses a true friend such as yourself. As another year goes by I just wanted to say your missed more and more each day and can't wait to see you on the other side my friend.

Got a text from Rae ~ Jey is trying to get ahold of you. So I call Jey and all I hear is our BabyGirl sobbing and crying. Had you been here to celebrate your birthday today it would have been smiles and not tears on her face. March 11th has been a sad day since you left us. But like I told Jey "lay down and pray and breathe then concentrate on all your good and happy memories of Daddy". So Chris today on your special day I hope and pray that all four of our kids feel your loving embrace...

OMG! Where are you? Why aren't you here? I need you! The kids need you! This is not fair! Why? Why? Please God we need him!
