Not sure what to say?

Very sad to learn of this news. "Coach" gave me an opportunity to join his basketball team at Charles County Community College in LaPlata. It was an incredible gesture, especially since I was not a recruit or even had a wealth of experience. Not only did he provide me with that opportunity, he also took time to teach me the game. His taking the time to bring me to a D1 game, to see the passion and energy required to play hoops at a high level is what kept me interested and ultimately led...

I am sorry for your loss he was a great man

Thoughts and prayers to Chris' family... he played basketball in my backyard in Pitman and I will always remember him as a gentle soul.

I know he had the same effect on the lives of his stundents and players...rest in peace!

Class of 1982

I'm heartbroken to learn of Chris' passing. My deepest, heartfelt condolences to his family and all those who love him.

I'm so very sad to hear this news and send deepest sympathies to all Chris's family. I have such fond childhood memories of Chris and his siblings Josh and Claudia, who was a best friend, and of their parents Jean and Ed, who were so good to me. I am grateful for those good times and send my love to you all.

Prayers to your family. ~Maria Mecca Raithby (PHS Class of 1981)

Deepest condolences from the DeClement family. Chris was a great friend of my youth. I know he was a outstanding father and educator and will be terribly missed by those for whom he loved.
Our prayers are with your family.

Played basketball with him way back in the late 70's and throughout the 80's before I moved to Phoenix. Nice person and treated everybody with respect. I imagine Chris will be missed greatly. Sorry for your families lose. Jim Fox Class of 1982.

Kelly and the girls, I wish I had gotten to know all of you before this day. Chris was one of my best friends growing up. I have way too much to write here about my friend Chris. I really enjoyed our friendship growing up in Middle School, High School, college years and afterward. My biggest regret is that I wish we had spoken more these past 15 years. Between Fleetwood Mac Concerts, behind Alcyon Lake, the shore, Nags Head, DJ'ing at Middle School dances, our first beer together, having...
