Very sad to learn of this news. "Coach" gave me an opportunity to join his basketball team at Charles County Community College in LaPlata. It was an incredible gesture, especially since I was not a recruit or even had a wealth of experience. Not only did he provide me with that opportunity, he also took time to teach me the game. His taking the time to bring me to a D1 game, to see the passion and energy required to play hoops at a high level is what kept me interested and ultimately led to my continuing with the sport and finishing school. Selfless commitment. Will never forget the enthusiasm he brought to practice, the honest manner in which he communicated, and the spirit for the game he shared with me. Coach's memory will always live on with me and has already been shared with my children. So sorry to hear of this loss and praying for his family. Rest in Peace coach - thank you for being a positive influence and for giving me direction.

Kelly and the girls, I wish I had gotten to know all of you before this day. Chris was one of my best friends growing up. I have way too much to write here about my friend Chris. I really enjoyed our friendship growing up in Middle School, High School, college years and afterward. My biggest regret is that I wish we had spoken more these past 15 years. Between Fleetwood Mac Concerts, behind Alcyon Lake, the shore, Nags Head, DJ'ing at Middle School dances, our first beer together, having the same taste in movies and music, our different political conversations, aquarium competitions, the Sixer's NBA parade, anything Philly sports, his VW.....I could go on and on. I hope you have and keep as many memories of your Dad and Husband, as I have retained for 50+ years. I will truly miss him. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you. Scott Lohmann

Kelly, Gabriella, Olivia, and Emily
I can't even begin to express my feelings .... I am saddened and have a hole in my being that will never be filled.

One of the original pit masters, my March Madness nemesis, the Football pool guru.....OH MY. I kept waiting for the DOUBLE NICKEL DAY email (55 days of school left) he has sent me every year since he left Henson. We always had a good laugh and caught up. I thought maybe he had forgotten.....

I will always remember.......LOVE AND A HUGE HUG FOR ALL
