The funeral was a beautiful remembrance of Chris' life and legacy. She would have approved of the thoughtfulness and beauty of the ceremony. It's hard to say goodbye but comforting to know that the way Chris lived her life and lifted up everyone around her will continue to ripple out and create good in the world. My condolences to Jodi and all of Chris' friends and family. <3

My condolences to Chris' family. The world has lost a heroine, a giver, a truth-teller, a devoted friend. Her absence will be felt by the many, many people she touched in her short but vibrant life. Chris was a fierce advocate for any person who needed support. She did this without ego. I will miss her.

I'm so very sorry to learn about Christy's death. I spent many hours with her at Gloria Dei growing up - confirmation classes, youth events at church, Santa Lucia - wonderful, wonderful memories. She was always smiling and was such fun to be around. My thoughts go out to Jodi and Christy's family. Peace to you all.
