Not sure what to say?

Loved watching Chuck every day. Wish those days were still here. He was truly a blessing to us kids and our parents. He's in a special place now called Heaven. . . .

How did I get so lucky? As a child in the 50's and 60's I watched your show everyday. As an adult in the mid 70's as a PSC for MDA I'd coordinated visits for the children to enjoy you and your crew in the studio. You were at every MDA event and of course the Annual Jerry Lewis MDA Labor Day Telethon.

You made us smile, laugh, taught us how to love, learn, lessons in tolerance and so much more. I've stored each of those moments under 'treasured memories' for instant recall. ...

Skipper, you were part of my childhood. Rest in peace.

In 1960 I turned 5 years old. 3 of my friends and I went on The Popeye Playhouse for my birthday. Mr Zink was a most gracious host. He made all of us feel welcome and I'll never forget how special he made us feel.

I'm not sure why I thought of you today, Uncle Dee Dee. I just wish we were able to really spend more time together. You were and still are my hero.

I remember Chuck landing in a Bell Helicopter at Gulfstream Park in the early 60's, we were there for a kids show of some kind. He got out and shook our hands before taking over as MC of the event. All was a class act and someone you could hold up as an example of what is right and decent.

Was a great man, love kids, and instilled good morals and good things and the children .
He told me I could be anything I wanted to be when I was 10 years old. I told my wanted to be a doctor, he said do it, I did. I've been...

Thank You Chuck, for being an inspiration to myself, and many generations before me. I was 10 years old, when your show ended, but the memories of watching you first thing in the morning, will last a lifetime. I am so grateful that you were part of my childhood. God Bless you, and your Family
