Cindy, like the many others that you have clearly touched with your caring, intelligence, intensity, humor and courage, I am grateful that I had the good fortune of being your co-worker and friend. You truly enriched the lives around you. We all will miss you. Rest in peace.

You were fiercely private, yet I was lucky enough for you to share moments, fears and realities about your battle with cancer that I will always respect and cherish. Cindy, I will never forget your quirky sense of humor which we seemed to share. Nor will I forget our esoteric conversations ranging from health to big pharma to the oddities of life. I've missed you at work these many months and have thought of you often. You fought the good fight and while I am happy you are no longer in pain, I am saddened that the world lost such a wonderful woman. You will be missed and my heart goes out to your family and friends at this sad time. Till we meet again.
