Clarence Anspake Jr.

Clarence was my "not-so" distant cousin and my family history research buddy in New York. We connected quite miraculously in 1982. My wife and I were at the NYC Municipal Archives, visiting from Florida, when a friend of his overheard me say "Anspake," a name I had just discovered. This friend was the only other researcher in the room at the time because a blizzard was raging outside! I can't believe it has already been five years. I think of cousin Clarence often, especially when I make a genealogical find on the Anspake family or something concerning New York. I miss sharing these things with him.
