Condolences to everyone in the Zanders family. I know how close you all are and how much family means to you....thank goodness you have many memories of this loved family member to hold close to your hearts.

It was my good fortune to have had the opportunity as a young police officer to work on one Clarence's tactical teams at (014) Shakespeare in the mid 70's. Talk about "old school". He set the bar for me as to how a boss / leader should be. After serving for nearly 30 years only a couple of other men came close to him. If you know anything about the Humboldt Pk. area in the mid 70's you know what we were up against and I NEVER ONCE hit the streets without the feeling that should I need it, Lt....

My condolences to the Zander's family. I had known him professionally and had the pleasure of working for him when he was the commander of the 19th district.

Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of Commander Zanders a man who was a true professional and never forgot where he came from. Also, may the Lord comfort all of you in this time of sorrow.
