Not sure what to say?

I am a 1974 graduate of SLU´s accelerated BSN program. I vividly recall Mrs. Tierney´s kindness and support of me and my fellow students in this intensive program. In gratitude for her support I have contributed to the SLU scholarship in Mrs. Tierney´s name and will make future contributions to this scholarship to honor her role in the establishment and growth of this program. I am grateful beyond words for Mrs. Tierney´s role in this program and her support of its students.

I was in the accelerated class of 1982. The program, then and now, was strenuous both intellectually and emotionally. Clarice made it easier than it would otherwise have been. I will always remember her gentle spirit, her ' thank you for sharing,' and the smiley faces on the care plans.

I remember your Mother and your Father well. John was one of our most jolly participants and your Mother served on our Board of Directors with her friends Dorothy Sassenrath-Bohning, and Patricia Demuth. We are the poorer because of your Mother's death. Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers

No one can ever replace you, a mentor, a role model and friend to all. God bless you Clarice.

Tom,
My sympathy to you & your family on the death of your Mother.
May you keep the years of memories close in your heart. Prayers & thoughts for all.
Chris

Clarice's foresight and leadership gave so many of us a rewarding career in nursing. She was a wonderful person - a mother to those of us who came to SLU from out of state to attend her program and I know she will be missed. Condolences to the family.

Kevin Sillery, RN, SLU School of Nursing, Class of '78

Tom so sorry for your loss, Prayers be with you and your family.
