Clarissa Marion (Sissy) Davis
Clarissa Marion Davis 91, a resident of Stamford, CT passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, at the Stamford Hospital on January 10, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Marion and William Waring Sr. Clarissa was born November 11, 1926 in Stamford, CT. Clarissa leaves her sons Richard Davis of Stamford, Robert Davis (Brenda) of Winsted, daughters, Patricia Franco (Paul) Margret Gautrau, Susan Hunter of Stamford, Catherine Lynch, Marion Clayburn (Dennis Sr) of Fairfield, Elizabeth Fuda (Rich) of Norwalk and Barbara Lyons (George) of Ohio and a sister Mary Stewart of Bridgeport. She also leaves several grandchildren, great Grandchildren nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sons Nelson and Roy Davis and daughter June Mone.
There will be a wake at Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 2900 Summer Street, Stamford from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, January 13th. A funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday, January 13th, at 3:00 p.m. at St. John's Episcopal Church, 628 Main St, Stamford, CT 06901.

Although I haven't seen Sissy in many years,I certainly remember her from shopping at Woolworths. I spent many a day in the fabric dept. and remember all those ladies well. Always friendly and helpfull and letting me know when things were going on sale. . Condolences to her family.
