Dear Friends and Family of Mr. Clark Rangel:
Please accept my deepest sympathies on the loss of your beloved. There are never any right words to express how deeply sad I am for the pain your family is enduring at this difficult time.
As Chair of the Senate Committee on Veteran Affairs and Military Installations, I am sincerely thankful for his valiant service in defense of our rights and freedom.
His commitment to family, friends, our community, and to serving our great nation leaves a wonderful legacy. May the love and the wonderful memories you shared with him help you when you need it most. He will never be forgotten, and your family will be remembered in my prayers.

Kev-
I am so sad for you in the loss of your partner of 13 years. My condolences to Clark's family as well. I have some special memories of of him that I'd like to share.
- The beautifully carved watermelon filled with fresh fruit that he created for your wedding reception. What a great party that was.
- The leather trimmed canvas tote bag filled with an amazing assortment of tools that he personally selected for Dad for Christmas.
-The laughs we had at Lillie's Noodle House in Vegas. He had a great sense of humor.
-His generosity as a host when we visited your home.
- How he bought bags of groceries and made homemade soup and breakfast burritos when we were heartbroken over the loss of our Dad and couldn't even think about cooking.
Texas has lost a good Democrat and we have lost a special member of our family.
