Not sure what to say?

Dear Barbara
I have had you and Claude on my mind for months. Today i decided to try and find you on line and came across his obituary.
I am so sorry for your loss.
I think of you often and smile when I remember your mom.
Please accept my condolences for you and the family.

My condolences to the Blakeslee family. Mr. Blakeslee was truly a kind-hearted man, an inspirational teacher, and was blessed with an endless supply of patience. How he put up with us during our high school years is nothing short of amazing. He was always calm and took the time to engage and answer questions while getting his students to think through the problem on their own. He saw the positive in people and instilled confidence to move forward ... that far-fetched electronics...

While words fail to capture the pain of losing a loved one, we look forward to the time when words will fail to capture the joy of having our heavenly Father return your dear one to you.

My first year teaching preschool at Head Start Mr. and Mrs. Blakeslee's grandchildren were in my class. I remember Mr. Blakeslee's sense of humor and love for his family. A truly wonderful and kind man. Sorry to hear of his passing. Thoughts and prayers to the whole family. Tobi Garelick

So sorry for the lose of your dear husband and father <3

I took Mr. Blakeslee's electronics class at Mills in 1968, despite my counselor saying that they don't admit girls to the class. But that was not Mr. Blakeslee's policy, and another girl took the class, too. He encouraged us to explore and have fun with the labs. Taking his class gave me the confidence to continue with computer science and math in college and beyond. He was at our last class of 1970 reunion, and I was able to thank him personally.

I had Mr. Blakeslee for Electronics in the early 70's and I saw him often after graduation as I was the School Recourse Officer at Mills High as I became a Millbrae Police Officer. Claude always took time to say hello and to check up on me. Electronics would have be my second career choice because of him. May he rest in peace

My sincerest condolences to Claudia, with whom I attended accounting classes at SFSU, and the entire family. Mr. Blakeslee sounded like a wonderful man and exceptional human being. May he rest peacefully, and may your memories provide you peace and comfort during this difficult time.
