Not sure what to say?

I just learned of Mr. Jarman´s death. RIP. He did fine work in "The Yearling, Rio Grande, and Intruder in the Dust. Thanks for his USN service.

I met Claude Jarman over forty years ago when I volunteered at the San Francisco International Film Festival. I felt a special connection because of the similarity of our names. When my job with Francis Coppola´s Zoetrope Studios was transferred to Los Angeles, I told Claude of my struggle of continuing to work for the company I wanted to align myself with or of staying in my beloved, native city. He listened kindly and told me, if I relocated, I could always go home again. After all these...

My mother took me to see "The Yearling" in Newtown Bucks County PA where I grew up. I will be 88 this year and have watched this movie so many times. Claude will always be a memorable actor, in other movies also. Rest in Peace Claude. Elizabeth Jenkins Becker

I coached his son, Murray at a Basketball camp at Stetson U. in Deland FL in about 1977. He was one impressive young man in all aspects. A son any father would be proud of.

As part of a young generation of film lovers who have been moved by your performances, we will ensure your legacy lives on. My deepest condolences to the Jarman family.

Katie....He was truly a great person.....You had a wonderful life with him....You can cherish those memories....Hoping the best for you and your family. Margo

Rest in Peace, Claude. It was a true honour and a joy to have corresponded with you for twenty years and to have spent time with you, first in London and then (so memorably) in Knoxville, at the Clarence Brown Film Festival in August 2023. You were a gentleman and a great talent. Condolences to Katie and all the family.

I will truly miss you "Pa" as I used to refer to him when I first started at JT. He actually responded to being called by that name and loved it! My 23 years with CJ at the helm were the very best! We traveled the world, laughed till we cried, joked until the very end but always remained humble and grateful. CJ, you had a wonderful life and you included us in it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart with much love. To Katie, the girls and the rest of the family, may the Lord grant you the...

Such a beautiful tribute. Here´s to your final martini shot.
