Not sure what to say?

Just found this obituary for Chick. Dear dear friend -- didn't get to share that Glenlivet with you. Having one today and sharing with the "earth" in your honor. I will miss you.

Condolences to Karen. I am sure he has left such a huge space in your life. Hope it's filling with wonderful memories of your life together. Much love. K.

I Made lt Home
I just wanted to let you know I made it home.

Everything is so pretty here, so white, so fresh, so new. i wish that you could close your eyes so you could see it too.

Please try not to be sad for me.
Try to understand, God is taking care of me.Im in the shelter of His hands.

Here there is no sadness, and no sorrow and no pain. Here there is no crying, and Ill never hurt again. ...

Chick and I worked together at CalPERS in Sacramento for a number of years, and later after retirement we connected via Facebook again. Chick had a great sense of humor and I have fond memories of the times we shared in the office. Yes, we should have worked ... but he always had interesting stories to share. RIP my friend, you will always be remembered.

I also wanted to add my own condolences to Chick's family. So very sorry to hear of his passing. My husband George was in the same USAFReserve unit as Chick. So I knew Chick through different social events that their unit would have (Christmas parties and Barbecue's) ect. What a fun guy and a nice guy...you knew you were going to smile if Chick was around! He was one of my favorites in George's Reserve unit. George and I both have the fondest memories of Chick and we wanted his family to...

Loved this guy! He was too much...too funny, too sarcastic!!! Even thought he hasn't been on the West coast for many years, I have a void in my heart!!!!

I don't remember Chick in school but we became e-mail friends much later. He had a great sense of humor. We traded lots of jokes. I miss him online. Rest well, my friend.

My condolences to Chicks' family. My thanks for his service and his dedication to the "coal crackers" remembrances of our youth in Mahanoy City.He always had a great memory and shared it with us on Shirley Ryan's website and we all enjoyed his contributions.RIP Chick, you will be missed but not forgotten.

so very sorry about "Chick" passing. I trained with him at McClellan and Travis Air Force Bases for a number of years. He was always was one of my favorite superiors. He was also very good friend, always ready to help in any way. He was jovial and witty. In all, he was a very nice man He will be missed by me and many of his other Air Force friends RIP Chick.

I'm very sorry to hear that Chick has passed. He was a wonderful "pen-pal" on Facebook, with his stories of Mahanoy City. May he rest in peace...
