Not sure what to say?

Although we didn't get to spend as much time with Clem as we would have liked, we will always treasure the time we had with him. I bet he and Aunt Helen are really having a great time together. She had a very special place in her heart for him. Our deepest sympathy to all of you.

Clem was absolutely one of the finest teachers in Wasilla High School. He w as also such a caring friend and family man. Howard enjoyed boating with Clem in his old wooden boat, and we enjoyed visiting with the whole family. We wish Evelyn and Joanna peace and care. Our prayers are with the whole family now.

When Clem Zidick taught chemistry at West Anchorage High School, I was a student of his for two years and a lab assistant for a third, between 1962 and 1965. He was one of the most creative and inspirational teachers in my life, and I often think back to the direction and help he was so generous with. It's comforting to know that he lived a full life close to his family.
