Not sure what to say?

I had the opportunity to know Cliff through, my good friend and his sister-in-law, Susane Yee, and throught the years his wife,Betty Mah and their two two sons, Damon and Liwen.I now wish I had taken more time to talk to him one on one. His gift of intellect and his smiling face will not be forgotton by the many who were in contact with him.He also had a unique sense of humor and a wonderful quest for knowledge. My special moment with Cliff was the time my husband, Don Cook and I were walking...

Dear Betty,
Memories. These cannot be taken away. The memory most predominant of Cliff was the ready smile.
Next the powerful intellect and readiness to engage it in discourse. Never will I forget the wonderful evenings I spent with you and Cliff debating and discoursing on so many matters. These were special moments and have been preserved in a special place in my memory bank.
Cliff was for me a good father, a good husband and a good man. I will miss him.
Mostly, I hope...

Stanley Toy and Lana

We knew Clifford through his wonderful sister-in-law, Suzan. We shared many fun social events together, usually over a dinner table laden with food. Larry and Cliff enjoyed a special affinity as electrical engineers, and love of commuting to work by bicycle. It was always a pleasure to listen to Cliff relate engineering in an historical context. He and Betty were both always upbeat with a positive outlook on life. He will be very much missed by us.

I will always have a picture of Cliff in my mind siting next to my desk, bringing in a new idea or concern, always something to make a improvement in any activity or topic that cought his attention. That picture is always with a smile. Cliff never had a bad thing to say about anyone or anything. He only gave off positive energy. We often arrived at Hazel and Folsom at the same time in the morning, during the heavy traffic.I would pray that I would see him safely inside.

I know he...

What a loss for all of us. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this very sad and shocking time. Clifford raised a wonderful family and we are sure he has made many other incredible impacts during his journey here on Earth. May your memories and the love and support of those around you support you. We are sending you much love now and always.

My sincere condolences to the family. I enjoyed talking with Cliff at work. He always took the time to show me pictures of his vacations. He will be greatly missed.

My conversations with Clifford always left me wondering
"What was I thinking!"
I will miss those conversations.
